Welcome to the PACT.  We are Parents Against Chinese Toys. 

As the parents of a beautiful baby boy, we are frustrated by the lack of safety standards regarding imported toys today.  Formaldehyde, lead paint and the date-rape drug have been the center of recent recalls from China.  This site is designed to give parents (or anyone with children in their lives) the information and resources to help keep our kids safe.  Here you will find the latest recall information, links to sites where you can find toys that aren't made in China, and other helpful resources. 

P.A.C.T. is also dedicated to demanding change and help from the American government.  In light of all of the recent media attention that the recalls have gotten, our leaders are slowly beginning to realize that safety is a huge concern to parents today.  Unfortunately, most parents don't have the time or resources to pursue demanding change.  Single voices get lost in the crowd.  P.A.C.T. is a place for single voices to be the crowd.  The larger we get, the easier we can be heard.
